Friday 28th May

Barn Owls had a super last day of term - the children finished painting their Egyptian death masks, created their own board game and then we had a little party to celebrate how hard they've been working since coming back to school.

Wednesday 19th May

Walk to school! Barn Owls and Tawny Owls were really excited to walk from the Co-Op to school this morning! We (the teachers!) did a sun dance and luckily the rain held off.

Tuesday 18th May

The children have really been enjoying the new play equipment. They have been enjoying making a variety of fun creations, from houses to towers to making their names with them!

Friday 14th May

In today's Science the children were experimenting with switches! We discussed how switches stop and allow the flow of electricity around a circuit, causing the light bulb to turn off and on.

Thursday 13th May

We started our new instructions unit by playing a new game - Egyptian Senet! The children loved following the instructions on the game and playing a new game.

Friday 7th May

During one of our breaks some of the children learnt a new skill - making daisy chains! They were very focused and loved seeing their creations form in front of their eyes.
