Easter Competition
EASTER COMPETITION 2023
Our Worship team invited all children to make, decorate or colour a cross to enter into this year's Easter competition. The crosses could be made of anything and be of any size. Children were encouraged to be creative and remember what Easter is really about.
After the competition, every cross entered will be taken to St.Peter's and St.Mary's Church in Stowmarket where they will be displayed around the church for visitors to see as part of their Cross Festival. The festival will be open to the public 1st-15th April at the church.
As you can see from the photographs below, we had lots of amazing crosses which we thoroughly enjoyed judging. The high standard of the entries definitely made it difficult for winners to be selected. Congratulations to the winners who each received a small wooden cross and an Easter egg.
EASTER COMPETITION 2022
All children were invited to submit an entry for our Easter Competition in April. They were asked to be creative and produce an 'eggsellent' masterpiece that represented Easter. We were delighted by the effort that had clearly gone in to each and every entry. There was such a wide range of ideas which had been carefully created which made it incredibly hard for us to judge.
