Phonics Learning

In Ducklings we do phonics twice daily, with the children being introduced to four new sounds a week. Over the Autumn term the children will be taught their phase 2 and phase 3 sounds. and then we will spend the rest of the year recapping these sounds.

Below is the presentation I used during the phonics meeting at the start of the year. In it there is information and key words to help you support phonics learning at home.

If you have any questions about our phonics learning please do email me and ask!

Thank you

Miss Long
