French Day!

Trinity celebrated Mardi Gras in February!

 

Mardi Gras is a carnival celebration, beginning after Three Kings Day (Epiphany) and ending on Shrove Tuesday. Mardi Gras is French for ‘Fat Tuesday’ as it is the last day to eat fatty foods before the start of Lent. 

 

As a school we enjoyed learning about the different French Mardi Gras traditions, and taking part in some of them!
