Year 1 enjoying French in the continuous provision!
Year 3 Learning our numbers to 20 using Loop Cards
Year 5 have been learning the French names for some foods. They practised saying them then, in groups, matched the food pictures to the correct French vocabulary before organising them into those which are good for their health and those which are not.
Year 5 read a French poem called 'Le retour du printemps.' We studied the rhythm and pattern of the poem, identifying the nouns and putting actions to the stanzas. Some children then added their own stanza following the same structure.
