Here are today's activities:

Handwriting

Today I would like you all to practice the ladder family of letters again (i, j, l, t, u, y). The following videos show how to correctly form each letter.

Please practice these letters in your English book.

Please note that these letters all begin in the same way:

Start on the line and whoosh up.

Miss Mowles' Handwriting Challenge:

I would love it if you could find creative ways to practice these letters (eg. shaving foam, chalk, rainbow writing, etc.) I would love to see your brilliant handwriting and your super creativity!

English / Phonics

For English today, I would like you to choose a book you have read this week or last week and create a new front cover for it. Make sure you tell me the title of the book and the author. I want to see what brilliant books I should read next!

I have attached the answers to yesterday's reading activity below.

Maths

For your Maths today, I need your help please. I have found some shapes and I need you to tell me which shape I have found. I have described each shape so you can help me.

Once you have done this you can play this Topmarks game and use shapes to complete the patterns. https://www.topmarks.co.uk/ordering-and-sequencing/shape-patterns

Please keep reading through Bug Club, and practicing Phonics through Phonics Hero, Phonics Play or the Phonics flashcards. Please also remember you can practice Maths through TT Rockstars, Numbots or games on the Topmarks website.
