Tuesday 28th April 2020

Here are today's activities:

Handwriting
Today I would like you all to practice the ladder family of letters again (i, j, l, t, u, y). The following videos show how to correctly form each letter.
Please practice these letters in your English book.

Please note that these letters all begin in the same way:
Start on the line and whoosh up.

Miss Mowles' Handwriting Challenge:
I would love it if you could find creative ways to practice these letters (eg. shaving foam, chalk, rainbow writing, etc.) I would love to see your brilliant handwriting and your super creativity!

I have now seen finger painting too!

English / Phonics

For English today, I would like you to complete the reading activity attached below. Make sure you read the text and the questions carefully, and remember that the answers will be in the text.

I have attached the answers to yesterday's reading activity below.

Maths

For your Maths today, please use the 2D shape descriptions you made yesterday to go on a 2D shape hunt. You could draw the objects where you find each 2D shape, or create a table and keep a tally of how many of that shape you see, or you could take photographs of each shape you find.

I would love to know what you find and how you decide to record your findings.

Please keep reading through Bug Club, and practicing Phonics through Phonics Hero, Phonics Play or the Phonics flashcards. Please also remember you can practice Maths through TT Rockstars, Numbots or games on the Topmarks website.
