How will you choose to practice your spellings today?

Can you use your spellings in a sentence?

English: Superworm

Read or listen to the story of Superworm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0keNDquvZEE&safe=active

In the story, Wizard Lizard and his Servant Crow were very unkind. Today I would like you to create a wanted poster so that people know they should look out for these people so they can be caught.

Make sure you give people as much information on your poster as you can, and describe them carefully so we know what they look like! Make sure you tell people on the poster what they did that was unkind too, so people know to be careful if they meet them!

I have attached a template for a wanted poster that you could use, or you might choose to use a different layout for your poster.

Maths – Time

Today we are going to be learning about half past times. When the big hand points to the 6, it means it half past the hour. To find out which hour the half past is, we have to look at the number the short hand has just gone past, just like in the poster attached.

On the attached sheet, read the time on each clock, write the question number in your Maths book, then write what half past time each clock is showing you. Remember to look at the number the short hand has just gone past, not the one it is going to.

Please keep reading through Bug Club, and practicing Phonics through Phonics Play or the Phonics flashcards. Please also remember you can practice Maths through TT Rockstars, Numbots or games on the Topmarks website.
