Roman Hook Day

This half term our topic is The Romans!  We enjoyed dressing up like a roman and learning about Romulus and Remus. We especially enjoyed their Roman banquet, where we got to be treated like royalty or had to serve our masters...

Roman Arts

As part of our Roman-themed week we made Roman shields and mosaics too.

Colchester Castle Trip

To learn more about the Romans, we visited Colchester Castle where we learnt about the British Roman Empire and Roman roundhouses. We even had a go at building our own roundhouse!
