English Year 3 and 4 Garden Birds reading comprehension. There are 3 different levels of reading comprehension attached. 1 star is the easiest, 2 stars medium and 3 stars the most challenging. Please read and answer the questions. We will send over the answers in tomorrow’s daily email.

Maths Year 3: Lesson 3 from the National Oak Academy on fractions, to recognise, identify and describe unit fractions. You can watch this lesson on a phone, laptop, computer or tablet. Please complete any learning for this in your blue maths books. The teacher talks through the answers as you work through the video. https://www.thenational.academy/year-3/maths/to-recognise-identify-and-describe-unit-fractions-year-3-wk1-3/

Maths Year 4: equivalent fractions. Watch this video for a quick reminder on how to find equivalent fractions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcHHhd6HizI&t=27s

Once you have refreshed your memory, can you find the equivalent fractions to these questions? Write down the answers in your blue maths books.

Remember: if you are finding equivalent fractions on the right hand side of the equals sign, you need to multiply the numerator and denominator. If you are finding fractions on the left hand side, you have to divide the numerator and the denominator.
