6.3.18 - Today we enjoyed a visit from James Campbell, who has inspired us to write our own stories about a magical machine. We also listened to parts of his book "The Funny Life of Pets" and retold some funny stories of own using shadow puppets.

In Science we investigated which material held the most cubes before sinking. We found out that tin foil was the best. We then twisted and bent the foil into different shapes to see which one was the best.

Wow! What a great start to our pirate topic! When we came into school we found some mystery footprints and a torn up note. After going on a hunt, and finding all of the pieces, we found out that it was from a pirate! We wrote Wanted Posters to try and capture him!
