Rainforests Homework Project
This half term your project is Rainforest Animals that can fly! You can choose any rainforest animal which can fly – this could be a type of butterfly, parrots, birds, insects and many more!
You will present your homework to the class on Wednesday 23rd May 2018. Ideas can include: drawings of the animals and labels of key features of them.
Models of the animal.
Information on where they live in the rainforest structure.
Fact books, PowerPoint presentations, flip books.
House points will be awarded for the presentation the children give on their homework to the class and the learning that has happened with their homework. A maximum of 5 house points will be awarded and this is based on how we feel the children prepared, presented and delivered their homework.
You can be as creative as you wish.
No weekly set homework will be set in the children’s homework books.
Instead we would like the children to complete 30 minutes of Mathletics a week and reading daily. We can track who has accessed the Mathletics and we check that reading has taken place every day in school. I will be setting tasks on Mathletics for the children to complete.
Homework Club is available on a Friday after school for those who would like extra support with homework or who do not have access to a laptop/ tablet for Mathletics.
